大自然是一位伟大的雕刻家，塑造出我们地球如今的模样，也造就了公园众多惟妙惟肖的象形石。 此处官草湖组凝灰质砾岩地层中节理裂隙发育，经风化剥蚀、流水冲刷等外力作用，形成类似鲤鱼和乌龟的剪影，故而得名“龟鲤石”。传说南宋皇帝逃难于此，化为鲤鱼等待再次化龙升天，而丞相保护皇帝于此，化为乌龟守护至今。 Nature is a great sculptor in shaping the Earth as it is today, as well as many vivid grotesquely-shaped rocks in the Geopark. The joints and fissures in the tuffaceous conglomerate of Guancaohu Formation are developed here. After weathering and erosion, water scouring and other exogenic forces, the silhouette of carp and turtle is formed, and that’s why it is named Guili stone (Turtle and carp stone). Legend has it that the emperor of the Southern Song Dynasty fled here and turned into a carp to wait for turning into a dragon to rise to heaven again. The prime minister protected the emperor here and turned into a turtle to protect him until now.
