驼吻峰穿洞位于东平河西岸，早期为地下溶洞，经水流长期冲刷，溶洞逐渐溶蚀、坍塌，前后相通，后因地壳抬升、地下水位下降出露于地表。穿洞所处山体外观像温文尔雅的骆驼俯身亲吻眼前的山峰故而得名“驼吻峰”穿洞。 Camel kissing peak karst cave is located in the west coast of Dongping river. In the early stage, it is a underground karst cave. After long time of water erosion, the karst cave was eroded and collapsed, and eventually connected the anterior and posterior cave. Later, as the  crust lifted and the groundwater level dropped, it gradually rised to the surface. The mountain where the cave lies shapes like a gentle camel kissing the peaks in front of him, then the cave was named as Camel kissing peak karst cave.
